After Willy's devastating fall yesterday, we weren't sure that he would come back but he did!! Emi was very relieved ;)

Day 8: Go to the Alpine Village

We have been going to the Alpine Village every year since Emi was 2. She absolutely loves it. Trinity Baptist Church turns their gym into a village complete with little houses, Santa, a living nativity, a puppet show and "snow" to play in. It's quite a show!

Jack and I hung out in the corner for a while - trying to navigate through this with a wheelchair was a nightmare!!

Day 7

Willy and Princess Celestia goofing around with Santa's sleigh.

Emi was looking at Willy and decided to move Princess Celestia when the whole thing came tumbling down off the mantel. Needless to say, there were quite a few tears. She was completely beside herself and 100% convinced that Willy had lost his magic. I told her to just leave him where he fell and that he would be fine and he knew it was an accident. (talk about feeling guilty for lying my butt off to her!) So here he is, after he fell off the mantel.

Poor Willy!!

Day 7 on the Advent Calendar was to watch a Christmas movie of her choice and she chose It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie.
